Here at Lavenders we offer accommodation in a choice of sizes and style, and in a range of prices to suit all budgets
Here at Lavenders we have a choice of rooms at a range of costs to suit varying budgets. We also offer a choice of either living in our beautiful Regency house with its original period features, or in one of our modern, purpose-built wings.
Our rooms are available in a range of sizes to suit all budgets and most rooms are on ground floor level, for easy, safe access. All rooms have a lovely view over the gardens and en-suite toilet with washbasin and some have walk-in showers, also. There are plenty of accessible WCs and assisted bathrooms available, too.
In addition to en-suite toilet facilities for privacy, all rooms have Nurse Call, TV and telephone points and individually controlled radiators. All rooms are single and have washbasins, Nurse Call, TV point, telephone point and individually controlled radiators.
Costs explained
Fees are payable calendar monthly in advance, by cheque, standing order or cash. Our fees include the cost of care with accommodation, food and drink, light and heat, access to WiFi and laundry services undertaken on the premises.
Our fees do not include:
* newspapers
* hairdressing
* dry cleaning
* chiropody treatment
* dental check-ups or treatment
* eye tests, or other optician costs
* clothing, toiletries and personal effects
Fee reviews
Our fees are reviewed annually. We reserve the right to increase fees if a resident’s condition deteriorates to a stage where additional care to that customarily provided is required, subject to agreement. However, this will always be discussed with you as part of an ongoing care plan.
Respite care
Please note that we charge extra for Respite Care to cover the administration costs of a short stay and we do ask for a minimum stay of one week.
Fees for less than one week will be calculated at a daily rate of 1/7th of the weekly fee. Each part of the day that a Resident spends in the home will be calculated as a whole day. Fees are generally reviewed annually. The home reserves the right to increase fees if a Resident’s condition deteriorates to a stage where additional care to that normally provided is required, subject to agreement.
