Residents and staff celebrated the 75th anniversary of VE Day. Activities carried on throughout the day, including poems, singing and of course, flag waving. Residents watched Winston Churchill’s speech, and then in the evening gathered together to watch the Queen. A special “Ritz Style” High Tea was also served , which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
